one ton tamale

Looking at Kali Fontecchio's blog tonight inspired met to buy some liquid watercolors this evening, and I learned that they are my favorite watercolors yet. Here's some crap I made with them!

Richard Scarry chipmunk.

Fairyland's Happy Dragon.

Oh my goodness! And there was a boy band doing a photo shoot in the park today...I really wanted to find out more about them, but i was tired and it was the end of the day, but they looked so cheesy good. "Is this for real?" asked Christine. I had this really weird moment of wanting to watch them but not wanting them to watch me watch them, if that makes any sense. I wish they were this boy band though:

I need an imac...BAD.

JellyBean, iMac, Nixie Clock, originally uploaded by oskay.

Anyone wanna donate an old fruity imac or sell one to me really cheap? I would really love to get one for our Art department at work. I wouldn't mind the cat either.

Thak Yew for tokken to us

Today is the first time in days I've been able to just sit down and do some light photo editing on my computer. I've been neglecting my blawg! Oh my! Still have to do some editing on birthday photos, but that will be later. For now, here's a wonderful card that was sent to Yvonne and I after we did a talk for a kindergarten class about the Penny book.

From xkcd

long time no blawg

hey folks! i can't really explain the lack of updates lately, other than, life in general is taking up all my time. Well, that and Super Paper Mario. After the Lobot Show, there was the Don Quixote puppet show, and taking on more crazy responsibility at work has been a great learning experience, but eats away too much of my own personal brain space so I haven't been making so much art for myself. That will hopefully change soon. Oh, and then, today is Michael's birthday so we are having an adventure through the sciences, oh and LOST is on tonight! YIP! Finally, we've also started watching Naruto Shippuden and I'm obsessed with Naruto again. Pictures to come soon. For now, here is an essay about social networking sites, which I love to hate and hate to love.

The cost of (anti-)social networks.
