Phew. Etsy.

I just spent all day updating my Etsy shop by adding some of my magazine mixed media paintings and the Captain Janeway painting. Why did it take all day? Because I get easily distracted.

Between Etsy-ing I made food, talked to Chrisclean about shopping, made a couple of mp3 playlists, watched an episode of Extras, rehearsed a puppet show, popped a big zit, and played a level in Super Mario Galaxy.

Anywhoot, our closing reception for Rainbow Warp Zone is next Friday, and I'll probably add the pieces from that show into my shop as well, cuz you know, they'd just sit around in my closet otherwise.

Oh, and I found this Shigeru Miyamoto quote while looking at Cyberhadji's etsy shop today. It's quite wonderful...

"What if everything you see is more than what you see– the person next to you is a warrior and the space that appears empty is a secret door to another world? What if something appears that shouldn't? You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more to the world than you think. Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things." - Shigeru Miyamoto

Aww, yeah. $200 worth of pudding.

Yippee! Etsy.com used one of my images in their online newsletter, The Storque. How exciting!

Yeah! I'm on Etsy!

We Are the Champions

I finally have the pics of our Rainbow Warp Zone art show up on Flickr. There's pics of my Princess Daisy and Princess Peach painting in progress, as well as the Paint Katamari Ball getting built for the show. Post Halloween Post

My busy week has finally slowed down a bit now that the Rainbow Warp Zone show is up. The opening was really great, and I'll have pics to post soon. But I really wanted to post my halloween photos of Larry Schmidt's Driveway Follies, a marionette puppet show performed for Trick-or-Treaters in Oakland. Michael performed in the show, along with Emily Butterfly, Larry Shmidt, and Kevin Menegus. It was a wonderful, wonderful show, you can read more about here.

Photos from my Flickr set:

And Michael uploaded a video of the show to Google. Enjoy!
